The Sound of Passion and Talent
I have been so blessed that I have been in the right place, at the right time and met the right people. I have never had any higher education than high school. Yet have been taught by some of the brightest engineer in the business. I have been recording music since 1959. My dad brought home this reel to reel recorder, had no clue what to do, but played around with it like my new toy. My first encounter in the recording studio was with 3 time Grammy Award Winner George Massenburg, wow what an experience. l started my music recording on a stereo cassette deck with two mic. I used it to listen to my band and see how we could do better. Well here I am now still recording and playing music. If I can be of any service contact me.
My Story
I started playing music in a band called the "Twilights" in 1966. I found some neighbors who had a band and asked me to join "Bobby J and the Generations". We played a lot of bar's and and military bases. In 1968 I started my own band "Dryed Ice". We started out in a few local bar's then got the opportunity to play in Ocean City, Maryland at the Beach Club on 9th Street and the Boardwalk. We were very successful at the club that year and at the end of the summer came back to Baltimore County. We started playing at the most popular dinner club in town "The Club Venus". We were asked to open a new club by the owners of the "Club Venus" called "The Latin Casino". We were to be the house band. This club was also a big success. Between the two clubs and back to the Beach Club in OC for the next three summers we became one of Baltimore's top bands.

I stop playing music in 1978 to do my own thing like "Family, Work (Job), Hobby, and Entrepreneur" When I retired in 2009 I started to play music again for the fun of it. Got hook up with some old friends who were having jazz jams which turned into "anything type jams". I got the music bug again and played for many local groups, music was fun and enjoyed the feeling. I didn't have to play for the money, it was just fun again. Durning my "Job/Employee" I was a professional Audio/Video engineer and my duties were many in the "Music/Video/Film/TV" industry. I started out with mastering and making cassettes. During my tenure at the studio I would freelance my services to producers and directors in the area. I started as a hobby installing sound and video system which turned into my own business another full-time job. This was successful for me for 15+ years. As I was getting older I had some health issues and retired from business. So now I have my own recording studio and started recording my own music. I also make my own backing tracks for doing my solo gigs.
